Ingredient Notes

  • Fat Free Cream Cheese: You can use a reduced-fat cream cheese version if you do not want to use the fat free.
  • Hot Sauce: Frank’s red hot sauce is great or you can order your favorite from the restaurant that you like.
  • Reduced fat blue cheese crumbles
  • Ranch Seasoning: This adds so much flavor to the dip. This ups the ranch dressing flavor.
  • Chicken: canned chicken, shredded chicken from breasts or packets.
  • Low fat Mozzarella Cheese: shred your own to save money.

Variations and Substitutions

  • Greek Yogurt – Replace the fat free sour cream with a fat free Greek yogurt.
  • Cheese – You can replace the mozzarella cheese with a fat free cheddar cheese.
  • Shredded Chicken- Can chicken, cooked chicken breast or rotisserie chicken are all great in this buffalo chicken dip recipe.

How to Make Skinny Chicken Buffalo Dip

STEP 1: PREP

First, preheat the oven and mix all the dip ingredients together in a bowl.

STEP 2: BAKING DISH

Then spray a small baking dish (I used a pie dish) with a light coating of non-stick cooking spray. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.

STEP 3: BAKE

  • 4 ounces fat free cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fat free sour cream
  • ½ cup hot sauce, I used some from our favorite wing joint
  • ½ cup reduced fat blue cheese crumbles
  • ½ Tablespoon dry ranch seasoning
