Mini Filo Apple Pie Bites

Sometimes I don’t know which is better, the apple pie filling or the flaky crust, they both make a delicious combination.

If you feel like serving up something warm and delicious at your next party try making this quick easy dessert recipe.  These mini apple pies use mini fillo cups to save time.  You can usually find them in your grocer’s freezer section near the pie crust and desserts.

These only takes 10 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to bake.  It really doesn’t get easier than that!

Oh, and these also make a great quick easy appetizer, too!

I’d say 1-2 Tablespoons sugar max. Not 1/2 cup. Recipe may have calculation glitch for smaller serving. I’d do 1 tbsp to cook apples, and 1 tbsp to sprinkle overall before baking.

The recipe doesn’t say when to add the sugar or what the measurement is… It just says “1/2” is that meant to be half cup? That seams like a lot of sugar for a recipe that only uses 1 Apple. I use 3/4 cup sugar for 4 apples in an apple pie. I’m trying to make these today but I guess I’ll wing it on the sugar amount lol

It is 1/2 cup. The recipe has been adjusted. Thank you for brining it to my attention.
