Step 1: Cinnamon Sugar

First, in a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar, set aside 1 tablespoon. Peel and slice your apples into 8 pieces. Then on a lightly floured surface, unroll the pie crust. Brush with  2 tablespoons of melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Next use a knife to cut each sheet into 8 one inch strips, about 8 inches long. Then wrap one strip around each apple wedge, placing sugared side of pastry against apple.

Finally, bake at 425 for 13-15 minutes or until pastry is slightly golden brown. Place on a wire rack to cool slightly, serve warm.
