These Apple Cider Pancakes with cider infused syrup are a great way to wake up during the fall months.
One of my favorite things about fall is that it’s finally apple cider season! I just love the stuff.
We have a local cider mill that seriously has the BEST apple cider I’ve ever tasted. They also sell a lot of apple cider inspired foods – the cider donuts are to. die. for.
When we visited the cider mill the other day it inspired me. I couldn’t wait to get home and come up with some delicious apple cider inspired recipe.
For this recipe, I started with my great grandmother’s homemade pancake recipe and tweaked it a bit. I add lots of delicious fall flavors and, of course, apple cider.
The result was pure perfection!
I also made a simple cider infused syrup to pour over top. I don’t know what I liked more…the pancakes or the syrup! This recipe is best when you use pure maple syrup – it makes a big difference in the taste.
If you like this recipe, you’ll probably love my easy Apple Pie Dip, signature Mulled Cider or my Apple Cider Mojito. All of these just scream, “Hello, fall!”
