If you live in the northeastern PA area, you may have noticed that yours truly was featured in Happenings Magazine!   The folks at Happenings were kind enough to include me in their November 2011 issue.  I was interviewed by a lovely journalist and fellow foodie, Kieran O’Brien.  We had a such a great conversation — I felt like I was swapping recipes and cooking stories with an old friend.  Kieran did a great job telling the story about how I started It’s a Keeper.

There’s also a family photo and a recipe for Sicilian Cauliflower.  It’s one of my family’s favorite holiday side dishes.  Even non-cauliflower eaters tend to devour this dish!

Oh, and see that smiling little tyke in the photo?  Well, five minutes before we snapped this shot, he was pitching a monster tantrum!  The photo makes him look rather angelic, but don’t be fooled…he was full of the devil that day!

For those of you that aren’t from NEPA, here’s the link to the article.  For those of you that are from the area, it’s on page 18 of the November 2011 issue.  If you’ve never read Happenings Magazine, I highly recommend you check it out — it’s chocked full of great stuff!

Thanks again, Happenings, for featuring It’s a Keeper!  I’m grateful for the opportunity!

Christina
