  • Pizza Crust Cans – refrigerated pizza dough or you can get it from the local pizza places homemade pizza dough.
  • Italian Seasoning Mix
  • Slices Pepperoni: Or other meat such as Italian sausage.
  • Marinara Sauce: Optional, for dipping.

How to Make a Pizza Roll

These are the basic steps for making pizza pinwheel recipe. Please refer to the recipe card below for more detailed instructions and nutrition facts.

STEP 1: PREP

First, preheat oven to 425 degrees and then on a floured surface, roll out each pizza crust, and next evenly sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over each crust (1 tsp of each per crust).

STEP 2: TOP

Second, top with pepperoni and cheeses and then roll into a tight log seams side down. Slice into one inch sections.

STEP 3: BAKE

Finally, place on a cookie sheet and bake, and lastly serve with your favorite sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pizza crust, cans refrigerated
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 cup pepperoni, sliced and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese, we used mozzarella and fontina
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
  • pizza sauce, dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • On a floured surface, roll out each pizza crust.
  • Evenly sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over each crust (1 tsp of each per crust).
  • Top each crust with 1/2 a cup of pepperoni and 1/2 a cup of shredded cheese, making sure to leave a 1/2 inch border around the crust.
  • Top each roll with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.
  • Starting at one of the shorter ends, roll each crust into a tight log.
  • Slice each roll crosswise into one-inch sections.
  • Place the slices on a lightly greased baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 10-12 minutes or until tops are lightly browned and cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve with your favorite marina sauce for dipping.
