Supposedly, this ranch bacon dip gets its name from how addictive it is. The flavor is incredibly addicting which is why some call it “crack dip “. This is one of our all time favorite dip recipes. The last time I made this dip, everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. If you make it, I guarantee you’ll be sharing the recipe.

Step 1: Prep

First, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Then in a mixing bowl, mix together sour cream, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and cooked and crumbled bacon.

Step 2: Bake Ingredients Together

Transfer the ranch dressing mix to a 2-quart baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake the ranch mix in the dip for 25 to 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

Step 3: Top the Ranch Dip

Finally, remove from the oven, uncover, and top with more shredded cheddar cheese and green onion for garnish. Serve warm.
