Common Questions About Frozen Chocolate Dipped Bananas

HOW DO I STORE FROZEN CHOCOLATE COVERED BANANAS?

Wrap them individually and then store in a freezer zip top bag or airtight container. Frozen Bananas can last a long time in the freezer. Easily three months.

CAN I SUBSTITUTE SPRINKLES IN PLACE OF NUTS?

Sure, if you do not like or are allergic to nuts use sprinkles, coconut or crushed up cookies like oreos!

WHAT TYPE OF BANANAS WORK BEST?

Of course, the riper the banana the better, just not too brown or they may be too mushy. When the skins are showing a few brown specks are best.

ALTERNATE CHOCOLATE MELTING METHOD?

Place a Mason Jar filled with chips and shortening in a pot filled halfway with water. Heat the pan over medium heat and stir the chocolate chips occasionally until melted and smooth.
