I know that when I don’t get enough sleep, I’m a bear the next day.
To make our bedroom more sleep-friendly, we added room darkening shades and we keep the temperature cooler. I also like to make my bed each morning so I when I go to sleep at night, all of my sheets and blankets are neat.
But your mattress plays a big role in your ability to fall asleep and stay asleep. When we bought our mattress, we looked for one that was more firm. We also wanted a mattress that didn’t move much when one of us got in or out of the bed.
