My 8 year old loves to help me in the kitchen. I’m always on the lookout for easy to make snacks that he can make on his own.
As my son is getting older, he’s able to help me more and more in the kitchen. He has finally progressed to where he can operate the microwave on his own.
This is a huge help when it comes time for a snack!
I recently discovered Bagel Bites and Delimex Taquitos in the freezer section at my local Wal-Mart. I liked that they both have high quality ingredients and are great for kids of all ages. The Bagel Bites are made with real cheese, homemade sauce and 0 grams of trans fat.
My little guy loves to help me in the kitchen. I was looking for snacks that my 8-year old could help prepare and these Bagel Bites and Delimex snacks were perfect! They are easy enough for school aged children to prepare (with adult supervision).
I liked having the extra help in the kitchen and my son liked to show off his independence.
Since he can read the directions on the package, he’s able to make them all by himself.
There are just a few simple directions and short cook-time in the microwave.
You can check out this Instagram video where he shows how easy it is to make Delimex Taquitos.
He loves to have a side of sour cream and salsa for dipping!
My guy loved both of these snacks! He said they were both keepers! I will definitely be using both Bagel Bites and Delimex for the first day of school! I like to have something a little special ready for him when he gets home.
