House Seasoning Blend - It Is a Keeper

House Seasoning Blend

This House Seasoning Blend is my go-to seasoning for most of my recipes. I use it on just about everything!

Super Strombolis

One of our favorite local restaurants is Mendicino’s. The food is great. The people are friendly. The atmosphere is like home. We’ve been going there for years! Well, a few weeks ago, we stepped waaay outside of our “box” and ordered a Super Stromboli. We knew they were good – we’ve had them at parties before – but we’ve never ordered one at the restaurant. These things are fantastic! Just like a regular stromboli, just with A LOT more meat and cheese. Mmmmmm!

Easy Side Dishes Easy Parmesan Orzo from It's a Keeper

Easy Parmesan Orzo

A while back, Christina at This Woman Cooks, posted this recipe on my weekly linky party. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to try it! It looked so cheesy and good. Plus, she said it was super easy.

I don’t know about you, but I’m always on the lookout for new side dishes that I can add to my weeknight dinner arsenal. I mean, c’mon, we love brown rice as much as the next guy, but one can only eat so much before it gets bor-ring! Needless to say, this recipe caught my attention so I thought I would test it out for all of my faithful readers!

Cinnamon Crusted Pecans It's a Keeper

Cinnamon Crusted Pecans

These pecans are one of my favorite recipes to make during the holidays. I can’t remember where I got the recipe from, initially. I’ve been making them for years. In fact, we included this recipe in our first cookbook, “Hitchcock Family Favorites”.

Steak Pizziaola It's a Keeper

Steak Pizzaiola

Steak Pizziaola It’s a KeeperFor years now, I’ve been dying to try Steak Pizzaiola. I don’t know why…it just sounded interesting to me. One afternoon, I was watching 30 Minute Meals and Rachel Ray made Pork Chops Pizzaiola. So, I did what any girl would do…I pinned the recipe on my “Recipes to Try” board on Pinterest!
