WHAT YOU NEED:

✔️ All-purpose flour ✔️ Granulated sugar ✔️ Baking soda ✔️ Baking powder ✔️ Salt ✔️ Ground cinnamon ✔️ Eggs ✔️ Vegetable oil ✔️ Vanilla ✔️ Pineapple can ✔️ Bananas ✔️ Pecans ✔️ Cream Cheese Frosting ✔️ Cream cheese ✔️ Butter ✔️ Powdered sugar

STEP 1:

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powdered, salt, and cinnamon.

STEP 2:

In another bowl cream together eggs, oil, vanilla, crushed pineapple, and mashed bananas.

STEP 3:

Then pour the flour mixture into the wet and mix just until incorporated.

STEP 4:

Evenly pour batter into 3 cake pans.

STEP 5:

Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

STEP 8:

Combine all the frosting ingredients and mix until fluffy.

STEP 9:

Let cakes cool for about 25 minutes then remove from the pans and put on a cooling rack.

Like carrot cake, spice is nice in this old fashioned hummingbird cake, as a result, try adding some cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger.
