INGREDIENTS

> Green beans > Butter > Olive oil > Slivered almonds > Lemon juice > Salt

MELT BUTTER

Melt the butter and olive oil together in a skillet over medium heat.

ADD ALMONDS

Once hot, add the slivered almonds and toast for 2-4 minutes, turning occasionally.

TOAST

You can toast until just lightly beige or until golden brown.

ADD GREEN BEANS

Toss the cooked green beans with the butter, oil and almonds until fully coated. Remove skillet from heat and add lemon juice.

EXPERT TIP:

Toasted shallots add a real depth of flavor to this green bean dish.
