Ground beef

Large green bell pepper chopped

Mushrooms chopped finely

Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
Brown the beef in a skillet over medium high heat, and set aside.
Add the butter to the skillet, and reduce the heat to medium.
Sauté the onions, peppers and mushrooms in the skillet until tender.
Return the beef to the skillet.
Whisk together the flour and beef broth.
Stir the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning to taste and beef broth mixture into the skillet.
Simmer until most of the liquid is absorbed, and the mixture has thickened.
Stir in the cheese until melted.
Top the buns with the cheesesteak mixture and serve.
Notes
Toast:
Try using a toasted brioche bun in the oven on a baking sheet.
Add Hot Peppers
: Banana peppers or other hot peppers add a little kick to your sloppy joes.
Short cut tip:
Try using prep cut vegetables, they are in the produce section of the grocery store.
Variation tip:
Ground Chicken can also be great in this recipe.
Alternate ingredient
: For a stronger beef flavor add beef stock in place of the beef broth.
