steel cut oats

Instructions
Cut your apple into small pieces and mix in a bowl with your cinnamon. Make sure all the apple pieces are evenly covered in cinnamon.
Mix all the dry ingredients in a mason jar.
Add the greek yogurt, almond milk and maple syrup. Mix in our apples and close your mason jar. Give it a good shake.
Let your oats sit in the fridge overnight, they will be perfect in the morning!
Notes
Gluten-Free Oats:
The steel cut oats can be made with gluten free steel cut oats.
Nut Butters:
Almond butter, cashew butter or peanut butter are all good choices to add even more protein.
Variation tip:
Feel free to add different spices such as ginger and even a pinch of salt.
Alternate ingredient:
No fresh apples, try adding a chunky unsweetened applesauce.
Different cooking method tip:
Warm on the stove in a small saucepan if you like.
