Angel Food Cake Mix

Lemon pie filling

Confectioners' sugar for dusting on top
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9x13 rectangular baking dish or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, stir together cake mix and pie filling until fully combined.
Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool completely before dusting with confectioners sugar.
Notes
Chips
: Try to mix lemon chips or white chocolate chips.
Garnish:
Drizzle the top of the bars with a little white chocolate
Add the Lemon Zest:
Up the lemon flavor with some lemon zest in the cake mix.
Marble:
For a different texture, consider swirling the lemon pie filling into the cake mixture for a marbled effect to the lemon angel food cake bars.
Topping:
Use a lemon pudding, lemon curd can top off the Angel food cake.
Bite Size: Rather than bars follow the recipe exactly but put into mini muffin pans.
Lime
: In place of the canned lemon pie filling you can use a lime pike mixture. Or if you can not find lemon pie filling, try a lemon pie mix.
