Copycat Campfire Sauce
5 from 10 votes
If you've been craving that iconic Red Robin Campfire Sauce, you can make it right at home in just five minutes. This copycat recipe is smoky, creamy, and completely addictive. It belongs in your fridge at all times — trust me on that one.
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, hickory smoke-flavored barbecue sauce, Tabasco Chipotle Sauce, ground chipotle chile pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until the sauce is smooth and well combined.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Stir the sauce before serving. Taste and adjust with additional chipotle pepper for a smokier flavor or more Tabasco Chipotle Sauce for extra heat, if desired.
Christina's Notes
Use real mayonnaise instead of salad dressing for the best flavor and texture.
Choose a hickory smoke-flavored barbecue sauce to achieve the classic smoky flavor.
Don't substitute original Tabasco for Tabasco Chipotle Sauce. The chipotle version provides both heat and smoky flavor.
Store the sauce in an airtight container or Mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
For an even smokier flavor, stir in a pinch of smoked paprika.
This sauce is even better after several hours in the refrigerator, making it a great make-ahead condiment.
Serve with burgers, chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries, or as a dipping sauce for vegetables.
