Creamsicle Orange Popsicles
5 from 1 vote
Creamsicle Orange Popsicles are a nostalgic summer treat you can enjoy at home. Made with fresh orange juice and vanilla yogurt, these orange cream popsicles will take you back to your childhood.
Combine the orange juice, orange zest, sugar, ½ cup of the vanilla yogurt, and vanilla extract in a blender. Blend until smooth. If desired, add a few drops of orange food coloring and blend again.
Spoon a small amount of the remaining vanilla yogurt into each popsicle mold.
Pour the orange mixture into the molds, leaving a little space at the top.
Top each mold with the remaining vanilla yogurt. Use a popsicle stick to gently swirl the yogurt into the orange mixture.
Insert the popsicle sticks and freeze for 4 hours, or until completely firm.
Christina's Notes
Add small pieces of fresh fruit to the molds before filling them for extra flavor and visual appeal.
For a naturally sweetened version, substitute the sugar with agave or maple syrup.
To easily remove the popsicles, run the molds under warm water for 10 to 15 seconds before pulling them out.
Store the popsicles in the molds or transfer them to a freezer-safe airtight container for up to 2 months.
Freshly squeezed orange juice provides the brightest orange flavor, but bottled orange juice can be used when you're short on time.
