Crock Pot Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham
5 from 2 votes
Crock Pot Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham is the perfect holiday ham. Crock pot spiral ham is super easy to make and has a delicious brown sugar glaze. The slow cooker makes it easy to set and forget.
Sprinkle half of the light brown sugar evenly over the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the boneless spiral-sliced ham, cut-side down, in the slow cooker.
Tuck the pineapple rings between the slices of the ham as evenly as possible.
Pour the pineapple juice evenly over the ham, then sprinkle the remaining brown sugar over the top.
Cover and cook on LOW for 3½ to 4 hours, or until the ham is heated through and reaches an internal temperature of 140°F.
Carefully transfer the ham to a serving platter. Spoon some of the cooking juices over the ham and serve warm.
Christina's Notes
Use an instant-read meat thermometer to ensure the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F before serving.
If your slow cooker is small, trim a little from the bottom of the ham so the lid fits securely.
For a thicker glaze, transfer the cooking liquid to a saucepan after the ham is done. Simmer over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or until slightly thickened, then spoon it over the sliced ham.
Let the ham rest for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing to help the juices redistribute.
Garnish the serving platter with the cooked pineapple rings and an extra sprinkle of brown sugar for a festive presentation.
This recipe can be prepared the night before by arranging the ham, pineapple, and brown sugar in the slow cooker insert. Cover and refrigerate overnight, then place the insert into the slow cooker and begin cooking the next day.
Store leftover ham in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Freeze sliced ham in freezer-safe containers or bags for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and reheat gently with a little of the cooking juices to keep the meat moist.
