Easy Hamburger Gravy
This hamburger gravy is a classic comfort food made with ground beef simmered in a creamy, savory gravy. It’s quick to make, budget friendly, and perfect served over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Beef, 80/20 blend
- ½ cup Minced Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 teaspoon Beef Bouillon Base, such as Better Than Bouillon
Instructions
- Add ground beef, onion and garlic to a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season beef with All Purpose Seasoning.
- Cook until browned and no longer pink. Take care to crumble the beef into small pieces.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce.
- Sprinkle the flour into the pan and stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add milk, beef broth and bouillon and stir to combine.
- Allow to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
- Add additional All Purpose Seasoning if it needs it.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or toast.

- Whisk Constantly: Keeps the gravy smooth while thickening.
- Adjust Thickness: Add more broth for thinner gravy or simmer longer for thicker gravy.
- Season at the End: Taste and adjust salt and pepper before serving.
