5 from 14 votes
Homemade Bisquick will be ready in your kitchen every time you need to make biscuits, casseroles, and more! This easy biscuit mix can be made in a matter of minutes, with ingredients you already have at home.
Add flour, baking powder and salt to the bowl of a food processor; Pulse for 15 seconds.
Add shortening to the food processor in small pieces; Pulse until the mixture resembles sand.
Store mixture in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 months.
Christina's Notes
Butter Shortening: Alternatively, use a butter flavored shortening for a great butter flavor, especially for shortcakes. If using immediately, use regular butter.
Cheese: Use the mix to make cheddar biscuits by mixing some shredded cheddar cheese into the biscuit mixture. However, it's not recommended to store cheese with the mixture for long amounts of time.
