Honey Teriyaki Sauce
5 from 2 votes
Honey Teriyaki Sauce is perfect for flavoring anything, from chicken and steak to fish and vegetables. This Japanese-inspired glaze has a savory taste, and is made with rice wine vinegar and soy sauce.
In a bowl combine soy sauce, water, honey, Worcestershire sauce, rice vinegar, onion power powder, and garlic powder.
Pour into a small saucepan and simmer all the ingredients together for 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce heats through.
Christina's Notes
Cornstarch: Thicken this sauce with cornstarch to make it extra rich and delicious. If you want a thinner sauce, just omit the cornstarch.
Garlic and Ginger: Some sesame seed oil will give your sauce a nutty flavor. In addition to the sesame oil, you can also add in some fresh ginger, ground ginger, garlic, or brown sugar.
Hot Honey: For a spicy kick, you can use hot honey.
