Garlic Herb Rolls - this easy homemade dinner roll recipe is ready in just about 30 minutes

Garlic Herb Rolls

  • 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp warm water
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/2 cups flour - plus additional for rolling/hands
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp basil
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • 1 Tbsp parsley


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick cooking spray.
  • Combine water, oil, yeast and sugar in a large bowl. Allow mixture to rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Mix in salt, flour and egg until combined. Add spices. Dough will be sticky.
  • Flour hands, and shape dough into 12 balls. Place onto prepared baking sheet and let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
