Instructions
In a blender, crush ice cubes.
Add remaining ingredients and puree until smooth.
Serve immediately
Notes
Add a handful of spinach:
Up the antioxidants by adding some greens. Kale works too.
Change Fruit:
Blackberries can be added too.
Variation tip:
Fiber, the Wheat Germ adds additional fiber to the smoothie.
Alternate ingredient
: Sugar free syrup or maple syrup can be used to add sweetness.
Alternate Tool:
If you have no blender, use a food processor. You will get the same creamy texture.
Dietary consideration:
Different butters can be added such as peanut butter, almond butter or any nut butter that you enjoy.
Extract:
Vanilla extract will make the smoothie super flavorful and rich.
