Crispy Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar
peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
Place chopped sweet potatoes on a rimmed baking sheet.
In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and salt; sprinkle evenly over sweet potatoes.
Place butter and honey in a small microwave safe bowl.
Microwave on high for 15-30 seconds until melted.
Drizzle over the sweet potatoes.
Roast at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until sweet potatoes are for tender and caramelized.
This Recipe Can be Doubled
: A great recipe for a crowd. Simply increase the ingredients proportionately and split it into two baking dishes before baking.
Feel free to add chopped nuts, whole cranberries or apple pieces to the crispy roasted sweet potatoes with brown sugar.
Maple syrup can replace honey if you are vegan and butter alternative can be use.
