In a food processor, chop the cheese, butter and spices together.
add the flour and blend. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until dough forms
Cut the dough into 3 dough balls. Cover and place into fridge for 1-2 hours.
Remove and flatten each dough ball on a floured surface. Cut the edges to form a square and cut out 1/2 to 1” squares. Salt and place in air fryer basket. Using a toothpick, punch whole in center of cracker to avoid puffing up.
Cook on 370 for 6 minutes. Remove and let cool and dry.
Notes
Bigger: Don't want the little cracker, you can make them any size that you want. Just adjust your cooking time.
Pasta Cutter: A knife will work, but a pizza cutter or alternatively, the pasta cutter listed above is adjustable and makes quick work of cutting these cheez it crackers.
Hole: To keep them from puffing up do not forget the hole.
Rolling out: To get the crispy crunch you desire do not roll the cracker dough to thick. The thinner it is the crispier they will be.
