Instructions
Preheat grill to high heat.
Cut pineapple into wedges or rings, removing the hard, inner core. (link to YT video for how to cut pineapple)
Place cut pineapple onto preheated grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pineapple is warmed through and has grill char marks.
Notes
Add oil or spray:
Use a spray or oil to brush on grill grates so that the pineapple do not stick but you get those beautiful grill marks.
Short cut tip:
Precut, not canned, from your grocer.
Variation tip:
Add a little tang to balance the sweet with a little lime or lemon juice.
Spice:
A warm spice like cinnamon or a dash of something hot compliments this well for fish or chicken dishes.
Alternate cooking method tip:
Feel free to use an indoor grill pan and cook this all year long.
