10graham cracker sheets - approx 1 1/2 cups of crumbs
1tablespoonlight brown sugar
7tablespoonsbutter - melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Place graham cracker sheets in a food processor and process until fine crumbs.
Add graham cracker crumbs, white sugar and brown sugar into a medium bowl; Stir to combine.
Add melted butter to graham cracker crumbs and stir until mixture resembled wet sand.
Pour graham cracker mixture into a 9" pie plate and use the bottom of a clean measuring cup to firmly pack the crumbs into the bottom of the pie plate and up the sides of the pie plate. You may need to use your fingers to press the crumbs into the sides of the pie plate.
Bake pie crust for 10 minutes.
This Recipe Can be Doubled: Making more than one pie, simply increase the ingredients proportionately and split it into two pie dishes before baking.
Short cut tip: Pre boxed graham cracker crumbs can be used in this recipe.
Variation tip: Feel free to use, vanilla, chocolate. cinnamon or other flavors of graham crackers for this crust.
Alternate ingredient: Dairy issues? Replace butter with coconut oil.
Non Stick Tips: If your crust is sticking try a non stick pie dish or use some non stick spray for easier release.
Smaller: Can make smaller mini pies or tarts with this recipe as well.
