Place dry brownie mix in a large microwave safe mixing bowl.
Place in microwave and heat in 30 second increments stirring between each for about 1 ½ minutes or until temperature is 160 (I use an instant read thermometer to check).
Remove from microwave and add in corn syrup, chocolate syrup and water.
Stir until well mixed and smooth.
Place sprinkles in a shallow dish.
Scoop out 1 tbsp of brownie mixture at a time and roll into a ball.
Slightly dampening your hands for rolling keeps the batter from sticking to them.
Roll in sprinkles to coat.
Place on plate or baking sheet.
Repeat until all batter has been made into truffles.
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Store in an airtight container and served chilled.
Notes
Different Flavors: You can use any of your favorite brownie mixes to make these yummy treats. For example, if you like blondies instead of the chocolate brownies, go ahead and make blondie balls instead.
Coating Tip: Roll the brownie balls in the sprinkles with a fork to keep them from sticking to your hand. Tap off the access.
Nuts: Roll the brownie balls in crushed nuts like as almonds, pecans, walnuts or peanuts for a crunchy finish.
Gift Idea: Brownie truffles make a perfect gift to give to friends and family for the holiday season.
Ornament Balls: Stick a mini candy cane on top to make it look like a hook on the top of an ornament.
Chocolate: Dip the brownie bites in melting chocolate, remove any excess chocolate. Roll in sprinkles if you'd like, and allow to dry on parchment paper.
Frosting: If you have a great homemade frosting recipe, like a frosting with peanut butter, try adding it on top of your brownie bites.
