Halibut fillets
Instructions
In a small bowl mix ingredients for the marinade.
Place fish in a zip top Bag and pour 3/4th of the marinade over the fish and allow to marinade for at least 30 minutes.
In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the Jalapeno lime cream. Place in the fridge until ready to serve.
Heat grill to a medium high heat, drizzle fish with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Grill fish for 2 to 5 minutes per side. Chop into bite-size slices or chunks.
Grill or pan-warm tortillas. Lay warmed tortillas out and top with fish. Add sour cream mixture, and top with any toppings of your choice.
Notes
Tortilla:
Corn tortillas can replace the flour tortillas or make a bowl out of rice or cauliflower rice if you are keto.
Add Spice:
Cumin, chili powder or hot sauce can all be used.
Salsa:
Keep the tropical vibe going by using a mango salsa.
Variation tip:
Different citrus fruits can also be used such as grapefruit.
Alternate cooking method tip:
The air fryer is a great way to cook the fish for these halibut tacos.
