Instructions
Place the Tazo Passion Tea bags in a heatproof mug.
Pour 1 cup of just-boiled water over the tea bags.
Steep the tea for at least 4 minutes, until it turns a deep reddish-brown. Remove and discard the tea bags.
Let the brewed tea cool for about 3 minutes.
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
Add the brewed tea, berry hibiscus concentrate, milk and vanilla syrup to the shaker.
Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until well chilled.
Fill two serving glasses with fresh ice.
Divide the sliced strawberries between the two glasses.
Pour the shaken drink over the strawberries and serve immediately.
Christina's Notes
Cool the Tea:
Let the brewed tea sit a few minutes so it does not melt the ice on contact.
Measure the Concentrate:
Too much berry hibiscus overpowers the tea and makes the drink taste candy-sweet.
Add Ice Twice:
Shake with ice, then pour over fresh ice so the drink stays cold without diluting.
Slice Berries Thin:
Thin slices soften faster and release more flavor into the glass.
Store Components Separately:
Keep unmixed tea in a sealed container in the fridge for up to two days.
