Strawberry Jello Pie
Strawberry jello pie is a refreshing and easy dessert that will satisfy the whole family. With just a few ingredients and 30 minutes of your time, you can have a mouthwatering treat that's perfect for any occasion.
Equipment
- Glass pie plate
Ingredients
- 3 ounces Strawberry Jell-O, one box
- 1 ½ cups Water
- ½ cup Sugar
- ⅓ cup Corn starch
- 1 Pie Crust, premade, such as Pillsbury
- 1 pound Fresh strawberries, washed, stemmed and sliced
Instructions
- Bake the pie crust according to the package directions in a 9 inch glass pie plate.
- Heat up one cup of water in a saucepan until it boils. Add 1/2 cup of sugar and Jell-O, and keep stirring until everything dissolves.
- Take another bowl and mix 1/3 cup of cornstarch with 1/2 cup of cold water until it dissolves.
- Pour the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan. Bring to a boil until the mixture thickens
- Incorporate the sliced strawberries into the thickened mixture and transfer the combination into the prepared pie crust.
- Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until jello is completely set.

- Decorate: Add a pop of color and freshness by garnishing the top of your pie with fresh sliced strawberries or other fruits.
- Graham Cracker Crumbs: For an extra added crunch and taste, sprinkle some graham cracker crumbs over the pie before serving.
- Different Crust: If you're a fan of buttery and crumbly crusts, try using a shortbread or graham cracker crust instead of a traditional pie crust.
- Whipped Cream: This strawberry pie would taste great with a dollop of homemade whipped cream.
