5 Minute Fudge

This 5 Minute Fudge is the perfect treat. It is so quick and easy to make and is so sweet and can be customized so many different ways. It is creamy, chocolatey and delicious.
Line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper leaving overhang on each side for easy removal.
Place chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and salt in a microwave safe bowl.
Heat on high for one minute; remove from microwave and stir to combine.
If needed, heat for an additional 30 seconds to fully melt the chocolate; stir until chocolate is smooth.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour into prepared baking dish.
Allow to completely cool before cutting in squares.
Christina's Notes
Add Candies: Garnish with your favorite candies, marshmallows, green cherries etc. to taste.
Variation tip: Currants, dried cranberries or other fruit can be added to white chocolate fudge.
Alternate cooking method tip: Cook on the stove over a pot of water on medium heat. Boil water in a saucepan and place a bowl on top and melt the chocolate that way. Use a candy thermometer for perfect consistency.
Pan: Use an 8-inch pan for a thicker fudge.
Drizzle: Drizzle with different chocolate for a fun look. White chocolate or colored chocolate with different flavor.
Dietary consideration tip: Fat free sweetened condensed milk or sugar free chocolate to make it more calorie conscious.
