Christina's Notes
Brown the Butter (Carefully): Gently melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat until it turns a nutty brown and smells fragrant. Be careful not to burn it. Let it cool slightly before brushing onto the tortillas. This adds a rich, caramelized depth of flavor.
Infuse the Butter: While melting the butter, you can infuse it with a cinnamon stick or a vanilla bean for an extra layer of subtle flavor. Remove the solids before brushing.
Toast the Cinnamon Sugar: Lightly toast the cinnamon sugar mixture in a dry pan over low heat for a minute or two until fragrant, stirring constantly. Be careful not to burn the sugar. Let it cool before sprinkling. This can intensify the aroma and flavor.
