Line an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe mixing bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until completely melted and smooth.
Immediately stir the dulce de leche into the melted white chocolate until fully combined. The mixture will become thick, which is normal.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer with a spatula. Tap the pan gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.
Refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm. Cut into 1-inch squares before serving.
Christina's Notes
Drizzle melted caramel sauce or melted chocolate over the top for an easy finishing touch.
Sprinkle additional white chocolate chips over the top before the fudge sets for extra sweetness and texture.
Fold in chopped walnuts, pecans, or almonds for a little crunch.
Chopped white chocolate bars can be substituted for white chocolate chips.
Double the recipe and prepare it in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish for holiday parties or gift giving.
Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Freeze the fudge in a freezer-safe container, separating layers with parchment paper, for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
