Preheat the oven to 350° and grab a 9x13 baking dish and set aside.
Using a knife, cut the entire thing of rolls in half. Place the bottom half in the baking dish and set the top half aside. Add 6 slices of provolone cheese to the bottom half.
Lightly shred the chicken tenders with your hands and place them on top of the cheese. Layer the marinara and 6 more slices of provolone cheese on top. Top with the top buns.
In a small bowl, mix together the butter, salt, garlic and parmesan. Brush the tops of the buns with the butter mixture.
Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is slightly golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and slice and serve!
Christina's Notes
Double this Recipe: This is a great recipe for a crowd. Simply increase the ingredients proportionately and split it into two baking dishes before baking.
Slicing Tip: Use a sharp serrated knife to separate cutting along perforations.
Extra Sauce: Serve with additional warm marinara sauce on the side.
Alternate Cooking Method: Make these mini chicken sandwiches in the air fryer.
Extra Seasoning: You can add more garlic or garlic powder if you’d like. Sprinkling with onions or adding onion powder would be great on this.
Other Meat: Try turning this recipe into meatball sliders or even mini burgers.
Spice: You can add red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning to this for a spice.
