Crock Pot Salisbury Steak

Crock Pot Salisbury Steak is the best comfort food! This traditional dinner cooks in the crock pot so it comes out super tender. This recipe is so easy and delicious, it's the perfect special meal.
Mix together ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs and milk.
Shape mixture into 8 patties.
Place patties in slow cooker, stacking like a pyramid.
In a separate bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, au jus mix and water.
Pour over patties.
Add mushrooms on top.
Cook on low setting for 4 to 5 hours or until meat is well done.

Different Meat: Make this recipe with ground turkey or venison.
Different Mushrooms: You can really make this recipe upscale by adding a different mushroom or a variety of mushrooms and a splash of wine!
Noodles: Try serving this dinner recipe over egg noodles or garlic mashed potatoes.
Flavor: Make slow cooker Salisbury steak using different flavors such as rosemary, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, or chili powder for a different flavor.
Sauce Consistency: If your sauce is too thin, add some water and cornstarch to thicken. If your sauce is too thick, add some beef broth to help thin it out to be the perfect consistency.
Cooking Time: If you're on a time crunch, you can also slow cook on high for 3 hours.
