Easy Italian Green Bean Salad
Green Bean Salad gets tossed in a tangy Italian dressing and chilled until the flavors soak in. It's a simple make-ahead side that tastes even better the next day.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Fresh green beans, cleaned and trimmed
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped onion
- ¼ cup Italian salad dressing
Instructions
- Add the green beans and cook for 2 minutes, until bright green and just tender.
- Drain the green beans and immediately transfer them to a large bowl of ice water to stop the cooking.
- Drain the beans again and place them in a large bowl.
- Add the onion and pour the dressing over the beans.
- Stir well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to marinate.
