Maple and Brown Sugar Instant Pot Oatmeal

This Instant Pot Oatmeal Recipe is the perfect breakfast food. It's easily prepared in a quick 5 minutes and takes just 6 ingredients. It's sure to warm you up for the day on a cold winter morning!
Pour all of your ingredients into your instant pot. Stir well to make sure everything is fully incorporated.
Place your lid on your instant pot by twisting it shot. Make sure to close the ceiling valve by pushing it away from you.
Set your instant pot to high-pressure for six minutes.
Once it has finished cooking, allow it to do a natural release. You will know that the natural lease is finished when the pin next to the ceiling valve has dropped. This should take about 30 minutes.
Once completed, give your oatmeal a good stir. Top with your favorite toppings such as a dash of cream, nuts, dried or fresh fruit. You can also add more brown sugar for an extra sweetness!

Double the Recipe: Double or triple this recipe by increasing the ingredients proportionately and splitting it into two batches if necessary. If you follow the recipe, this recipe makes about 6 servings.
Protein: Try adding in some protein! Add some bacon or a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
Fruit: Add your favorite fresh or dried fruit. For example, try raisins, bananas, strawberries or blueberries.

Steel-Cut Oats: If you make instant pot steel cut oats instead of old-fashioned oats, add another minute or two to the cook time as they take just a little longer.
