Notes
I highly recommend taking a trip to your local apple orchard or farmer's market and picking up a bushel of your favorite varieties. Not only are you supporting local businesses and agriculture, but you'll be sure to get great fruit that's loaded with flavor (not water). Then, when you get home, make a batch of this deliciousness. You won't be sorry.Dark brown sugar can give your apple crisp recipe the extra flare you've been missing! Also, You can never go wrong with caramel! bump or add that in for a sweet flavor that is to die for!Adding ingredients such as, nuts, walnut, pecans, or macadamia nuts will give your apple crisp an extra toast ! You can not go wrong!
