Substitute for Poultry Seasoning
This Substitute for Poultry Seasoning is identical to poultry seasoning at the store. This recipe is a life saver for when you can't find poultry seasoning in your cupboard or you run out of poultry seasoning!

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons Ground sage
- 1½ teaspoons Thyme
- 1 teaspoon Marjoram
- ¾ teaspoon Rosemary
- ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
- Combine all seasonings into a spice grinder or food processor.
- Process until finely ground.
- Store in an air tight container.
Christina's Notes
- Add Citrus: Add some lemon peel, orange zest or any of your favorite citruses.
- Parsley: It always brightens up your dishes. Also make it savory by adding garlic powder or onion powder or herbs de provence, if you like.
- Alternate Ingredient: Of course, sea salt, table salt or kosher salt and pepper can enhance this mixture.
- Flavor to Poultry: Punch up your chicken or turkey, or other poultry dishes with this delicious blend.
