Set the instant pot to sauté and add the oil, beef, sliced onion and garlic. Sauté until beef is fully cooked.
Add broth, Worcestershire, soup, salt and pepper and pressure cook on high for 3 minutes.
Manually release pressure and strain the juice into a bowl.
Once meat and onion are strained, place in a roll, top with a half slice of provolone and set sandwiches under a broiler for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve sandwiches with drained broth as a dipping sauce.
Notes
Doubled: Great recipe for a crowd. Simply increase the ingredients proportionately and cook.
Different Meat: Pork, lamb, turkey or chicken can be used.
Short cut tip: Feel free to use pre cut beef for this recipe from your grocer.
Variation tip: Try a different cheese for different flavors, swiss, gruyere, cheddar whatever your family likes.
Alternate ingredient: Low sodium versions of the soup to make a little healthier.
Dietary consideration tip: Gluten free rolls can be used or pile this beef on rice or mashed potatoes. Alternatively just eat on it's own. It is that good.
