1. Cook Beef Roast in the Instant Pot

Preheat your oven to broil. Set the instant pot to sauté and add the oil, beef roast, sliced onion and garlic to the bottom of the pot. Sauté until beef is fully cooked.

2. Pressure Cook Sauce Ingredients

Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, French onion soup, salt and pepper to the instant pot. Place lid on instant pot and set on high for 3 minutes.

Manually release pressure and strain the juice into a bowl, scraping brown bits off the bottom.

3. Assemble and Broil Sandwiches

Add strained meat and onions to a crusty French bread roll, and top with a half slice of provolone cheese. Set sandwiches under a broiler for 2 minutes or until you have melted provolone.

Serve sandwiches with drained beef stock as the au jus and enjoy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Sirloin beef, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons Garlic, minced
