No ratings yet
This Big Mac Casserole is the perfect oven-baked solution to your burger cravings. Layered with potatoes, cheese, burger meat and secret sauce, this casserole is sure to be a hit.
Arrange the hash brown patties in a single layer in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Meanwhile, whisk together the mayonnaise, relish, Dijon mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a small bowl. Set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and all-purpose seasoning for 6 to 7 minutes, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and cook for 1 minute more.
Remove from the heat and stir in ⅔ cup of the Big Mac sauce and 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
Spread the beef mixture evenly over the baked hash brown patties.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top and finish with the sesame seeds.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the casserole is heated through.
Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes.
Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of the remaining Big Mac sauce.
Christina's Notes
Drain the ground beef thoroughly to prevent excess moisture.
Crisp the hash brown patties before adding the beef mixture for the best texture.
Double the sauce if you'd like extra for serving.
Add the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles after baking to maintain their freshness and crunch.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
For best results, store the toppings separately and add them just before serving.
Reheat the casserole base in a 325 degree F oven until warmed through.
