Christina's Notes
Preheat the Sheet Pan: Place your sheet pan in the oven while it preheats to 400°F. This helps the gnocchi and veggies get that crispy, caramelized edge right away.
Use Fresh Gnocchi – Fresh gnocchi tends to roast better than frozen or shelf-stable varieties. If using frozen, let it thaw slightly before baking.
Toss Everything in Olive Oil & Seasonings – Coat the sausage, gnocchi, and veggies in olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper for maximum flavor.
Add Parmesan & Panko for Extra Crunch – Sprinkle grated Parmesan and panko breadcrumbs over the gnocchi before baking to create a crispy, cheesy topping.
Roast at High Heat – A temperature of 400°F ensures the gnocchi gets golden and the sausage cooks through while keeping everything tender inside.
Customize Your Veggies – Try adding butternut squash, Brussels sprouts, or bell peppers for extra color and texture.
Finish with Fresh Herbs – Toss in fresh basil or parsley after baking for a burst of freshness.
