No Bake Orange Pie
5 from 22 votes
Orange Cream Pie is so quick and easy with a 5 minute prep time and 5 ingredients! It has a lovely light and creamycitrus filling surrounded by an irresistible graham cracker crust.
First, take a large bowl (microwave safe) and add the orange gelatin along with 1/4 cup of reserved mandarin orange juice.
Next, microwave on high for 1 minute.
Then, place the gelatin mixture in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to thicken before adding the yogurt and whipped topping.
After that, whisk in orange yogurt and Cool Whip.
Then, fold in 1/2 cup of chopped mandarin oranges.
Pour the pie filling into a 9-inch pie shell and top it with some whole mandarin oranges or orange slices for garnish (optional).
Finally, refrigerate it until it sets, which should take around 4 hours.
Christina's Notes
This Recipe Can be Doubled: Simply increase the ingredients proportionately and split it into two pie dishes before chilling.
Graham Cracker Crumbs: Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top of your dessert to add delicious crumbs.
Nuts: Top this delight with chopped walnuts or pecans for an amazing crunch.
Zest: Add orange zest to your mixture to pack in more orange flavor.
Whipped Topping: Make a delicious orange whipped topping by combining heavy cream, granulated sugar, sweet orange and vanilla in a stand mixer until peaks form.
Drain Fruit: Drain canned mandarin oranges thoroughly to keep your dessert from becoming runny.
Finish: Top the orange cream pie with store-bought or homemade whipped cream.
Cream Cheese: While this recipe calls for the use of yogurt for the orange pie filling, softened cream cheese can be a great substitute.
Fresh Oranges: Fresh peeled mandarin oranges work in this recipe for an even fresher-tasting treat, or you can use an orange extract.
