Christina's Notes
Layering: Layer the ingredients evenly to ensure that each bite has a balanced flavor. Don't be afraid to experiment with different layer combinations.
Cheese on Top: A generous layer of cheese on top will create a golden-brown and bubbly crust.
Resting Time: Allow the lasagna to rest for 10-15 minutes after baking to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese to set.
Quality Ingredients: Using high quality ingredients, especially cheese and pierogi, will greatly improve the final results of the dish.
Noodle Preparation: If using traditional lasagna noodles, be sure to cook the lasagna noodles al dente, so they do not become mushy. Lay the cooked lasagna noodles out on parchment paper until ready to use.
Toppings: Top this recipe with sour cream, chives or caramelized onions.
