whole chicken

giblets removed and washed/patted dry

Paprika

All Purpose Blend

baby carrots

Instructions
Add chopped veggies to the bowl of slow cooker.
Roll up 4 pieces of tinfoil into 2 inch balls and place in slow cooker.
Place chicken in slow cooker on top of tin foil balls.
Combine paprika and House Seasoning Blend and sprinkle seasoning mixture all over chicken.
Cook for 6 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Christina's Notes
Add Lemon:
Place lemon slices in the cavity of the chicken for a citrus flavor to the whole chicken.
Fresh Herbs:
Bundle together some fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme and cook along with the chicken.
Variation tip:
Feel free to add cook parts of the chicken using this method. Try cooking chicken breasts, legs or whatever you can purchase on sale.
Alternate ingredient:
place a little butter or herb butter under the skin of the chicken before cooking to infuse the bird with flavor.
Leftovers
: Make chicken sandwiches with
