Pub Burger
5 from 7 votes
This Pub Burger is full of flavor, with pub cheese, beer caramelized onions, and bacon all together on a juicy seasoned burger patty. It's the perfect recipe for stepping up your grilling game.
Place the ground beef in a bowl and add burger seasoning blend.
Mix with hands until combined; form into 4 patties.
Grill patties over medium-high heat for 7-10 minutes, or until desired doneness.
Remove from grill and place the burger on bottom half of bun.
Top each patty with a heaping tablespoon of pub beer cheese, caramelized onions, and 2 slices of bacon. Add top bun.
Christina's Notes
Cheese: Make this burger with cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, herb cheese blends, or whatever you enjoy.
Brown Sugar: Add brown sugar, salt, and black pepper to the burger seasoning if desired for a sweeter taste.
Buns: Toast the buns on these gourmet burgers for a crispy texture and golden brown color. You can use brioche bread, kaiser rolls, or pretzel rolls for a copycat Pretzel Haus pub burger.
Egg: Top with a fried egg to up the flavor.
Variation tip: Ale can replace the lager if you prefer.
Chicken: This recipe can be made with grilled chicken breasts or even steak burger patties instead of hamburger meat.
Grill Pan: Cook these burgers with a grill pan, in a large skillet on the stovetop, or in the air fryer if you prefer.
Toppings: Top these burgers with grilled mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, or BBQ sauce.
