Baked Breaded Pork Chops are a go-to weeknight recipe. They're crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, resulting in a satisfying and easy meal.
In a shallow dish, such as a pie plate, add the flour.
In another shallow dish, whisk together the beaten eggs and milk.
In a third shallow dish, add breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley and garlic powder; Stir to combine.
Season both sides of each pork chop with All Purpose Seasoning Blend.
Dredge both sides of one pork chop in flour, tapping off any excess.
Dip the floured pork chop in the egg mixture, making sure that the entire pork chop is completely coated.
Finally, dip the pork chop in the breadcrumb mixture, again making sure the entire pork chop is completely coated; Set aside.
Repeat with remaining pork chops.
Heat the olive oil in a large, oven proof skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook until lightly brown. Remove garlic and discard.
Place the breaded pork chops in the pre-heated skillet and cook for 5 minutes per side or until lightly browned. The pork will not be cooked though at this point.
Place the skillet with the browned pork chops in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145℉.
Christina's Notes
Bake at the Right Temperature: A moderate oven temperature (around 375-400°F or 190-200°C) is ideal for even cooking and preventing the breading from burning.
Don't Overcook: Cook pork chops until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Use an instant-read thermometer to check for doneness. Overcooked pork chops will be dry.
Rest Before Slicing: Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful chop.
Alternate Cooking Method: Air fryer pork chops are always a great way to go.
